About Trudy
With a Radio-Television-Film degree from the University of Texas, Trudy has been working as a Director of Photography for the past nine years. The years have been filled with some amazing professional opportunities including a trip to South Africa to document the impact of Aids/HIV on the orphan population and two months spent embedded in Iraq.
Her work encompasses documentary, public service announcements, newsmagazine, non-profit fundraising, international news , as well as marketing/branding videos. And she shoots with all of the current professional formats including XDCamHD, HDCam, DVCam, DVCPro HD, and HDV.
Trudy knows that the way an image is captured greatly impacts how that image is ultimately understood, so she takes seriously her role in the storytelling process.
